Recorded at Donegal’s Attica Studios and Holy Mountain Studios\u003cbr\u003ein London with producers Mark Bowen of Idles and Loren Humphrey (Geese,\u003cbr\u003eCameron Winter), alongside engineer Chris Fullard (IDLES, Sunn O)))) and\u003cbr\u003eworld-renowned mixer John Congleton (St. Vincent, Modest Mouse, Swans),\u003cbr\u003ethe crack team that readily assembled for LP number two speaks volumes of\u003cbr\u003eits quality from the off. This is Gurriers taking all the musical chemistry and\u003cbr\u003esmart, interrogational worldview that made them great in the first place and\u003cbr\u003esouping it up to the next level.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003eFrom the rattling tension of the title track’s opening moments that then give\u003cbr\u003eway to a cacophonous, cathartic climax, ‘Nobody’s Coming To Save You’\u003cbr\u003etakes this spirit of the sweaty basement venue and turns it stadium-sized. It’s\u003cbr\u003enot just loud, but dynamic. ‘Shades’ takes shards of industrial, angular guitar\u003cbr\u003eand sends them into a gnarly hardcore chorus, while ‘Drones’ is a true\u003cbr\u003epressure-cranking slow build with a drop destined to decimate every mosh pit\u003cbr\u003ethey travel through. On ‘Pins’, they explore a looser, more melodic swagger\u003cbr\u003ethat comes on like a grunge \/ trip-hop hybrid, whereas ‘Party Lines’ is pure\u003cbr\u003einsatiable dance-punk hedonism.
